As you probably already know, the royal wedding was last weekend and you better believe that I woke up early to watch it! All of the details were absolutely dreamy and dare I say neck in neck with Kate & Will’s big day?! From the adorable flower girls to stunning florals to Meghan’s Givenchy dress – the whole event was classic and timeless and it made my little Anglophile heart sing!

Not only was I lucky enough to start my morning out with the royal wedding, later in the day I also had the joy of photographing Jaimie & Jake’s big day too – talk about a perfect day! You’ll probably remember these two from their fall engagement session and their wedding was just as beautiful. The day was full of thoughtful touches, personal gifts and handcrafted details. Jaimie made all of the signs herself and hand-dyed all of the napkins and fabric used on the accent tables. 

We may have had a bit of rain and fog throughout the day but Jaimie and Jake didn’t let this dampen their spirits. By adding a first look, we were able to complete most of their formal photos before their ceremony so that afterwards, they were able to attend and enjoy their cocktail hour with friends and family. Their ceremony was intimate and full of special moments including a memorial candle lighting for Jaimie’s father and Jake’s mother who were there with them in spirit. 

These two danced the night away and their entire day was an absolute blast! Congratulations, Jaimie & Jake! You are two of the sweetest people I know and I am honored to have been part of such a special time in your lives!
